Dan Seay is the President of Hub City Body Shop of Luubbock. Dan has been the General Manager of Seay Collision, Inc. dba Maaco Collision Repair since May 1st, 2006. Dan previously owned Roofmax in Dallas for 10 years before deciding to sell his business and move back to Lubbock to join the family business. Dan attended West Texas A&M University for 5 years with a Major in Kinesiology and was a soccer player for the Buffs for 5 years including his redshirt year. Dan is married to Misty, and they have two sons, Jacob is a licensed pilot, member of the Texas National Guard and works at the Lubbock Airport. Joshua is attending South Plains College. Misty has been a dance teacher in Lubbock the past 15 years. Dan has been a youth baseball coach in Lubbock the past 15 years.

We are blessed with 7 crew members that are the jewel of our business. Four of our technicians have been with us for more than 10 years. We truly are like family and have get-togethers from time to time to just have fun.
Roy & Sheila Seay are his parents; they started the body shop in 2005. Roy is working on his collectibles, doing other activities and he supports Dan and helps at the shop when needed. Sheila manages the accounting. Roy & Dan are big fans of Texas Tech and love to go to the games.
Carrie Coppi is Dan’s sister. She is the parts manager, fleet manager, insurance estimator and office manager. They say if you want to get things done – give it to the busy person. That’s Carrie! She started working in the family business in 2005. Carrie is married to James; they have one daughter (Viola Coppi) who attends Frenship High School. James is retired military and currently a police officer in Wolfforth, TX.
Chad Bouse is Dan’s cousin and is the lead insurance estimator with 25 years of experience. Chad is the cowboy of the bunch and just about knows everybody in the Lubbock region. He has been officially working in the family business for the past 4 years and he has always been involved in the family business since the beginning.
Devon White is our heavy hit and frame repair technician for late model vehicles. His specialty is roof and quarter panel replacements & repair. Mr. White & his wife have a strong faith and practice their beliefs in all things they do. They enjoy outdoor activities with their kids & family.
Richard Reed is our lead painter who has worked in all departments and is a handy body technician as well. Rick keeps up to date with the latest refinish technologies and attends Sherwin Williams classes in Dallas on a regular basis. Rick & his wife have grown kids and their granddaughter is the light of their life. Rick loves his backyard, and you can usually find him there on weekends.
Esley Miller is another multi-talented technician. He is our best paint prep person and is a master at taping. He leads the sanding and prep department; we don’t see much of him during the day as he gets lost in his work. Esley & his wife love to travel and party with friends/family.
Scott Lowry aka ‘The Fireman’ is a graduate of WyoTech in all categories (painting, welding, body panel replacement or repair, aluminum repair & welding and upholstery). He & his wife enjoy crafts and outdoor activities with family and friends.
Javier Maldonado owned a professional detailing business in Dallas. He moved to Lubbock in 2020 with his wife who is attending Texas Tech to complete her CPA education and become licensed. Javier manages our detail area which is primarily wet sanding and buffing new paint jobs plus putting the vehicles back together. We hope they stay in Lubbock when his wife graduates.
James Cortez is another multi-talented technician. He primarily works on light body work, primer work, sanding, etc. James is our back up painter. He has been around a long time in this industry in Lubbock and has found a home with us the past few years.
Christian Diaz is our newest employee, he has a lot of knowledge in body shops and is working in the sanding and paint prep area.
Adam Trevino is an auto body technician with 20 years of experience.
Adam fights diabetes and works a modified schedule to make sure he stays healthy.
Anthony Rendon is a 20-year body shop veteran who recently moved here from Denver, Colorado. He decided he did not want to go through another winter in the cold country and loves Lubbock.
